Play Groups
Play Groups through the Wayne County Family Center are a great way for parents/caregivers and their children (birth up to age 5) to get out and have fun. Children enjoy play time, with parents always watching, of course. There’s lots of space for running, jumping and even a bit of safe climbing. Other children are close by to make a new friend, talk and sing, or even play a game or put together a puzzle. Or, depending on a child’s age, he or she may just enjoy playing side-by-side with other children or simply watching what’s happening around him/her.
Please call to register before attending your first play group.
For Hamlin, call Michele at (570) 226-9017.
For Honesdale, Preston or Pleasant Mount, call Sheryl at (570) 251-3287.
If Wayne Highlands, Wallenpaupack, or Western Wayne have a delay or cancellation for any reason, Play Group is also cancelled. Also, Play Group does not happen on major or minor holidays.
